I really wish they had gone along with Kopa being in the story. Or somehow explain what happened to him, because in the end of The Lion King, the new cub is CLEARLY not Kiara (Lion King 2, Simba's Pride.

The reason Kopa wasn't in the movies, much as I hate to admit it, was because he was never an official canon character in the first place.
